Abstract: This article focuses on the conservation of the primary and secondary forests of the village of Santa Cecilia where, over the years, the practice of deforestation has increased since the Afro-descendant community has seen in this natural resource a socio-economic potential for the livelihood of their families, thus causing the expansion of the agricultural frontier and degrading the areas of forest cover; Due to this, it seeks to formulate a community reforestation program and propose strategies that help to mitigate agricultural expansion. For this, a qualitative methodology was carried out that had information based on different theoretical, technical, cartographic documents and interviews with primary sources such as inhabitants of the village that helped to identify the aforementioned problem, which when analyzed led to the proposal of a Program for reforestation with a community approach and a forest Ecopark for the El Silencio village of the village of Santa Cecilia (Pueblo Rico - Risaralda) which are linked to the mitigation of the agricultural frontier and the recovery of areas degraded by these activities, contemplating the participation of the community and strengthen environmental education.
