The present article aims to approach from a psychoanalytic perspective, the phenomenon of school failure. Reflections on 4 perspectives: Inhibition, Symptom, Insomnia to the other and hysterical message. For this, the text commentary discipline was used as a fundamental tool in the methodology. School failure as inhibition is an impossibility that accounts for a parental image that does not admit of competition and produces a cognitive restriction of the ego to preserve the child's subject from transgressing the forbidden. School failure as a metaphor revealing what is symptomatic in the family structure; Responds to something that can be deciphered as a hidden message and refers to a reality that is not every day but is the sexual reality of the unconscious. As an insult to the Other, he gives an account of an objection to the offer of a master teacher who stifles the desire to learn. In some cases it enunciates a message by which hysteria is heard: The child's requirement is the elaboration of the symptom from the analytical listener, but the school gives a wrong answer by means of the exploratory verification of the body through the sensory alteration (Attention deficit) and / or generic deficit (mental retardation).Publicación Acceso abierto El niño que no aprende ¿dificultad de aprendizaje o síntoma?(Universidad Católica de Pereira, 2015-10-23) Rendón Peláez, María FernandaEl presente artículo, es una reflexión no derivada de investigación sobre los conceptos del psicoanálisis Lacaniano, en relación al no aprender en el niño, respondiendo al interrogante ¿dificultad de aprendizaje o síntoma? The present article is a reflection not derived from research about lacanian Psychoanalysis concepts in relation to the non learning of the Child, responding to the interrogation ¿learning difficulty or symptom? For it, it was developed the symptom concept, there were approached the concepts of knowing and desire related to learning and an approximation to psychoanalytical theory was made for the comprehension of such phenomenon. Similarly were built categories such as: school and knowing, what is at stake on the learning process, family and subjectivity, learning difficulty or symptom which allowed to reach the following conclusions: learning difficulty understood as a symptom, it shows through school failure, which represents particularity of the subject respect to his family, the school and the knowing. Meaning that impasses a child may face at school in terms of learning, not only find a response from cognitive and educational approaches; it is also necessary lead to the subjectivity of the child on school space; the relevance of teachers role in this logic it was also revealed, as who transmits, beyond knowledge, a posture respect desire and knowing.
