Abstract: This article aimed to investigate the basic attitudes of the therapist, mainly the unconditional acceptance in processes of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy with Boys and Girls that have emotional blockages. For the above, a review of articles, research and degree work in English and Spanish was carried out. Regarding the recording and analysis of the revisions, an Excel matriz was carried out that accounts for the databases, countries, years, authors and results. With the review, 25 articles were selected that provide information adjusted to the proposed objective, showing that when facing situations of changing thoughts and behaviors, many NN create barriers that must be handled by the therapist with each of the attitudes and skills that he has developed for his professional work. Finally, it is possible to show that although in many cases the NN with behavior problems are usually indicated, through unconditional acceptance in the therapeutic alliance, an adequate approach is achieved with them, leading to a context of tolerance and affection to generate thus a therapy of confidence and willingness to change.
