Este trabajo evaluó los parámetros lumínicos de 23 ambientes pedagógicos internos básicos (APIB) de la Universidad Católica de Manizales, mediante una metodología diagnóstica con mediciones in situ y acorde a las recomendaciones de la Norma Técnica Colombiana para el Planeamiento y Diseño de Instalaciones y Ambientes Escolares (NTC 4595). Los resultados arrojaron porcentajes de cumplimiento entre el 17% y 56% según la variable y se pudo concluir que en el 65% de los APIB, la causa de incumplimiento de la iluminancia media se debe a factores de diseño en las instalaciones de iluminación artificial. Finalmente, se logró establecer una metodología que puede ser replicada en cualquier institución educativa que busque evaluar las condiciones lumínicas de sus APIB.
This work evaluated lighting parameters of 23 basic internal pedagogic environments (APIB) at Catholic University of Manizales city, through a diagnosticmethodology under in situ measurements, and according to recommendations of Colombian Technical Standard for Planning and Design of School Installations and Environments (NTC 4595 for its Spanish abbreviation). Results yielded a compliance percentage between 17% and 56%, according to the variable, andit was conclude that in 65% of the APIB, the cause of average illuminance noncompliance is due to design factors of artificial lighting installations. Finally, amethodology was established which may be copied at any education institution in order to evaluate luminous conditions of their APIB.
