| dc.description | Con base en la información obtenida sobre el cáncer de mama, se hace evidente el interés que en los últimos años han despertado los factores psicológicos asociados con el estrés y los estilos de afrontamiento presen-tes en pacientes diagnosticados con esta enfermedad; por ende, este artículo se centra en las conceptualizaciones de estrés y afrontamiento con relación al cáncer de mama o a la enfermedad crónica, teniendo en cuenta los aspectos cognitivos, conductuales o situacionales que incrementan o disminuyen los niveles de estrés, favoreciendo o perjudicando el afrontamiento que realice el paciente de las diferentes situaciones a las cuales deberá enfrentarse a causa de su enfermedad. | es-ES |
