Como parte del núcleo problémico que se aborda durante la primera fase de la estructura curricular del programa de Diseño Industrial de la Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda, se abarcan tres principios fundamentales que son: forma, función y estructura. Durante el primer semestre se aborda la forma como protagonista. La forma como un todo estructurado, encuentra sus inicios en la naturaleza misma la cual comunica al diseñador sus componentes para lograr la creación de nuevas formas que dan como resultado objetos artificiales. Entonces la comunicación se convierte en el medio para comprender el entorno permitiendo tanto a los objetos naturales como artificiales ser interpretados en un contexto específico.
As part of the core problems addressed during the firs phase of the curricular structure of the industrial Design program at Univesidad Católica Popular del Risaralda, covers three main principles are: form, function and structure. How a structured whole, the form finds its origins in the nature which the designer communicates its components to achieve the creation of new forms that result in artificial objects. Then the communication becomes a means to understand the environment allowing both natural and artificial objects be interpreted in a specific context.
