| dc.description | This article is born from the from the necessity to contextualize academic mathematics, thusachieving a better appropriation of knowledge and the development of mathematical skillsin seventh grade students. In the same way, the aim is to modernize the educational processby articulating the teaching activity with current trends in mathematical teaching, as is the case of mathematization. | dc.description | El presente artículo nace de la necesidad de contextualizar las matemáticas académicas, para lograr una mejor apropiación de los conocimientos y el desarrollo de habilidades matemáticas en los alumnos de grado séptimo. De igual manera, se pretende la modernización del proceso educativo, por medio de la articulación del quehacer docente con las tendencias actuales en la enseñanza matemática, como es el caso de la matematización. Para ello se utilizó como metodología la etnografía educativa de tipo cualitativo y la técnica de entrevista abierta, que permitió identificar los intereses de los educandos. | es-ES |
