El siguiente artículo expone el ejercicio académico desarrollado dentro de la asignatura de Taller de diseño social, del sexto semestre del ciclo de formación basado en el acercamiento conceptual de los imaginarios sociales desde lo urbano, para proponer productos de diseño en una temática determinada. El objetivo de esta asignatura es sensibilizar al estudiante en la noción social del diseño desde una perspectiva personal y autónoma, que corresponda a un proceso explícito, lógico y coherente para que desde su propia experiencia cree los determinantes de diseño que permitan el desarrollo de una creación tridimensional que pueda constituirse en producto dentro de los marcos académicos de exigencia en esta etapa de su formación académico profesional.
The following article describes the academic exercise developed in the course of social designworkshop of the industrial design career on sixth semester based on the conceptual approachof the social imagination from the urban issue to propose design products in a particularsubject. For the purpose to sensitize the student in the social notion of design from apersonal and autonomous perspective. It corresponding to an explicit, logical and consistentprocess from his own experience to create the design´s determinants for the development ofa three-dimensional creation which might become a requirements product in the academicframework at this stage of his professional academic formation.
