dc.descriptionThe existence of network conditions between urban units comprising the“Ciudad región Eje Cafetero” is studied; from the current paradigm of thenetwork of cities, which sees these as open organizations and in connectionwith their counterparts through interactions that occur in flows of people,goods and information. The identification of network relationships betweencities is done through direct methods based on the analysis of the flow of peoplebetween the municipalities of the city region, and with the support of systemstheory and application AGRAPH indicators are estimated by degree centrality,closeness and intermediation and from which evidence for the existence of thisnetwork and configuring poly-centric character of the spatial formation understudy is provided.en-US
dc.descriptionSe estudia la presencia de condiciones de red en las unidades urbanas que componen la “Ciudad región Eje Cafetero”, partiendo del paradigma de red que las considera como organizaciones abiertas y en relación con sus similares a través de interacciones que se manifiestan en flujos de personas, mercancías e información. La identificación de las relaciones de red se realiza a través de métodos directos basados en el análisis de los flujos de personas entre los municipios de la ciudad región, y con el apoyo de la teoría de sistemas y la aplicación AGRAPH se estiman indicadores de centralidad por grado, intermediación y cercanía, aportando evidencia sobre la existencia de red y la configuración policéntrica de la formación espacial objeto de estudio.es-ES
