El programa de Comunicación social – Periodismo de la UCPR, no había tenido en cuenta el periódico Q’hubo como una buena práctica pues este tipo de periodismo no es el que se busca conseguir por parte de los estudiantes. A través de estas páginas se describe la organización, cómo funciona el medio y cómo se puede vincular la academia con el periodismo popular. En gran parte, el trabajo habla desde mi experiencia como estudiante y a la vez como periodista, contrastando las dos perspectivas con el propósito de buscar el mejor equilibrio./Abstract:This document shows the experience as the first peasant in a popular newspaper. Social Communication and Journalism program at the UCPR, didn’t count Q’hubo as a good practice, because this kind of journalism is not the one they want to get from the students. Through this pages, I describe the organization, how works and how it’s possible to combine college and popular journalism. On the basis of this proposal is explicitly involved so the Christian message as the key to a better life for all. Teaching practice I here is the result reflected a very special experience with a group of students with particular characteristics, which have been proposed, from religious education and the reflections in it implied a way to promote personal growth processes and out of the crisis caused by situations such as drug use, prostitution, abuse, family breakdown, early motherhood, among others.
