Publicación Acceso abierto Concepciones acerca de la enseñanza y el desarrollo infantil, y sus vínculos con las prácticas educativas en docentes de preescolar(Universidad Católica de Pereira, 2015-07-24) García Hawkins, Yairis Milena; Valencia Giraldo, Ángela MaríaStarting from an socioconstructivist approach the plan was to understand educational practice and, conceptions of teaching and children’s development of three preschool teachers from Liceo Taller San Miguel in the city of Pereira. Looking for that goal it was implemented some observation techniques, of semi-structured interviews and documents analysis. The results were triangulated to analyze each one of the conceptions and the links to the educational practice. The analysis of the results allows to infer that the preschool teachers have built their conception of teaching based in significant actions; taking in account their teaching action as mediator of students comprehension. Their conceptions of children´s development has several characteristics such as constructivist and environmentalistic approaches of development, because they conceive the development as progressive changes of the children, motivated by their experiences in the near context. Finally, the educational practices were characterized as technical-comprehensive, because they focus on accomplishing programs and teaching activities, thought to promote the comprehension and the active development of children, but with lack of flexibility to add fitting day to day in function of the creativity and interests of the students. At the end the bonds are analyzed between teaching conceptions, development and educational practices of the teachers, in function of acquired experiences and the meanings built in the scholar context where they belong.
