Publicación Acceso abierto Una mirada de inserción al mercado laboral desde la perspectiva del salario mínimo como incentivo de jóvenes entre 17 y 25 años de edad con estudios técnicos y profesionales.(Universidad Católica de Pereira, 2014-03-26) Ríos López, Andrés; Largo Andica, Diana MilenaIt is generally accepted that the minimum wage is an indexed tool monetary policy to control inflation processes. In its implementation, there is a strong component of sectoral policy which seeks - at least conceptually - guarantee an income level that is compatible for all workers and proportional to the satisfaction of their basic needs. But the minimum wage is also subject - ultimately - productivity work. as is unsustainable payment of a fee that exceeds the productivity of a job, the determination of a minimum wage causes unemployment in those jobs whose productivity is less than the same, still pointless for other occupations. in this paper we take a look out of employment between supply and demand, trying as main theme the minimum wage earned by technicians and professionals aged 17 and 25 years in the city of Pereira.
