Abstract: The following lines seek to identify and analyze psychosocial elements that appear in the conformation of musical groups of the metal genre, those that occur in the fanatics or listeners of these genres and the relations that occur between both representations of counterculture. For this, they were traced some categories specific to the discipline and others of sociology, with the aim of projecting interviews and grouping the discourses of two discussion groups made up of musicians who interpret the genres and by the audience that listens to them; in order to recognize, relate and analyze what is psychosocial in their discourses; concluding in such a way the existence of a reality - critical - discrimination loop; likewise, life histories, socioeconomic status and the possibilities of labor or academic integration play a quite decisive role in behavior and stereotype; It is also perceived in the discourses inputs for future experiences already from clinical psychology, analytics or politics; and it is recommended for any future study, intervention or understanding of these phenomena, the environmental, socio - political and subjective particularities are detailed, so as not to err in generalizations. Abstract: The formation of groups is inherent to the human condition, since it has the need for shelter or a place that provides an affective reference of identification and belonging. For this reason, the group becomes an important entity for the development of the human being from the individual and the symbolic constructions he needs for the potentiation of that which differentiates him from other species, that is to say, his rationality and his possibility of being a social subject. In this way, it is possible to recognize the existence of diverse institutions, product of human construction, such as, for example, the family, the school, the city and the neighborhood, in which diverse practices are constructed and interrelated in the social dynamics. After being a member of a primary social group such as the family, people seek to be linked to other scenarios that show them different ways of interpreting reality, in which ideologies and practices that re-evaluate those already known and constructed in the family become evident. This happens from the first encounters of the subject with other worlds, thus emerging secondary socialization, in which differences are established that lead to compare and controvert the subjective construction with that which is socially objectified. In this way, young people begin to explore scenarios of participation different from the primary one, meeting with peers who share experiences in which identifications and new constructions emerge, forming in some cases, as in the case of the present analysis, small groups that give meaning to their reality, the gangs. The practices of these groups begin to be seen in a particular way, since they are different from what has been socially accepted, taking into account that most of their members are going through a moment of crisis as a result of their life cycle, since it is in this period when the individual begins to ask himself about his existence, This question is intertwined with an apparent crisis of meaning, since the function of the institutions is far from univocally possessing the truth and therefore offering a valid meaning for them. In this way, an approach to the phenomenon of youth gangs in the municipality of Dosquebradas is sought. Understanding that takes place from the recognition of the "crisis of meaning" that subjects may experience due to the emergence of secondary socialization processes, where sometimes a "sense of life" created in the first institution "the family" is opposed to other worlds, other subjectivities, other "senses of life", thus recognizing other possibilities of interpreting their reality, revaluating their system of beliefs and values that identify them and make them belong to a "certain community of life". According to this panorama, among these possibilities arises "the gang" which for many becomes a reference to experience security, identity and affectivity, which in other institutions they do not reach, it is another way to crystallize their ideals of life.
