Abstract: Buenaventura is a city located on the Pacific coast, and despite having an extension of 15 kilometers of coastline, it has a serious problem, all its bodies of water or estuaries are covered by angular settlements of factories, private companies, houses and the ports that having licenses and conceptions to be located in these sectors are the ones that affect those coastal edges and their ecosystem. The port of Buenaventura does not have a maritime front, it is a port that hides the sea, due to this the inhabitants and their visitors, when traveling through the city from east to west for several kilometers, do not see the sea or its environmental richness, but go to see him at the tourist pier. It is the great challenge that the city has from its urban planning, to connect it with the sea, and to recover its idiosyncrasy, generating a tourist interest, its attractiveness.
