Por su parte, Colombia es un país que cuenta con las condiciones naturales óptimas para la prestación de este pasatiempo como actividad turística, teniendo en cuenta que es el país con más especies de aves registradas. El presente trabajo de investigación, parte de la necesidad de implementar nuevas estrategias enfocadas a fomentar el turismo de avistamiento de aves en el departamento de Risaralda, para dicha construcción se realiza una investigación de tipo descriptiva, en la que se tuvo en cuenta una entrevista aplicada a los operadores turísticos de avistamiento de aves de Risaralda y una encuesta aplicada a 75 avistadores de aves nacionales e internacionales que permitieron diseñar algunas estrategias construidas bajo el modelo mix de marketing de servicios. Abstract: Bird watching has become one of the most popular hobbies in the world, people from different countries travel every year to different destinations in the world to observe birds. On the other hand, Colombia is a country that has the optimal natural conditions for the provision of this hobby as a tourist activity since it is the country with the most registered bird species. The present research starts from the need to implement new strategies focused on promoting bird watching tourism in the department of Risaralda, for this construction a descriptive research is carried out, in which an applied interview was taken into account to the birdwatching tour operators of Risaralda and a survey applied to 75 national and international birdwatchers that allowed the design of some strategies built under the service marketing mix model.
