Esta investigación se realizó a partir de un estudio cuantitativo correlacional y transversal, el cual participaron 11 cuidadores primarios de 3 IPS de la ciudad de Pereira (Hospital Universitario San Jorge, Oncólogos de Occidente y Comfamiliar), se utilizaron los instrumentos de Calidad de Vida (versión familiar) de Betty Ferrell y el Soporte Social Percibido en Enfermedad Crónica de Hilbert, se realizó el análisis a través de la correlación de Sperman. Los resultados mostraron que las variables más significativas frente al soporte social fue la subescala guía con un valor superior a diferencia de la ayuda tangible, el cual reporto un valor inferior y en las variables de calidad de vida se reportó una percepción negativa en la dimensión física y una percepción positiva en la dimensión psicológica. Abstract: This research aimed to identify the relationship of social support and quality of life in primary caregivers of children diagnosed with leukemia in three IPS in the city of Pereira. This research was carried out from a correlational and cross-sectional quantitative study, which involved eleven primary caregivers from three IPS in the city of Pereira (Hospital Universitario San Jorge, Oncologos del Occidente and Comfamiliar), using the Quality of Life instruments (family version) of Betty Ferrell and Perceived Social Support in Chronic Hilbert Disease, the analysis was performed through the Sperman correlation.
