Dicha investigación se realizó desde un enfoque cualitativo haciendo uso de la teoría fundamenta que permite hacer un proceso de interpretación entre la información recolectada por medio de la entrevista semiestructurada y los indicadores teóricos propuestos: socialización, subjetividad y género. De esta manera, por medio del análisis de hallazgos se plantea la discusión y conclusiones presentando una postura en contraposición a algunas investigaciones identificadas en los antecedentes que refieren el consumir cannabis como una actividad masculina o desempoderadora en mujeres, dando cuenta de la construcción de sus sentidos subjetivos frente al consumo propio y de otros desde un enfoque de género. Abstract: The proposed research presents the results of the analysis of the socialization experiences of four young women from the city of Pereira in different spheres of their lives such as institutional, organizational and family and how these influence the configuration of subjective meanings. This research was conducted from a qualitative approach using the grounded theory that allows an interpretation process between the information collected through the semi-structured interview and the proposed theoretical indicators: socialization, subjectivity and gender. In this way, through the analysis of the findings, the discussion and conclusions are presented, presenting a position in contrast to some research identified in the antecedents that refer to cannabis consumption as a masculine or disempowering activity in women, taking into account the construction of their subjective meanings regarding their own consumption and that of others from a gender perspective.EspañolConsumo de cannabiscannabis useGéneroGenderSubjetividadSubjectiveSocializaciónSocializationArticle
