Facultad de Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería, Pereira, 2019El presente trabajo se realizó con la finalidad de estudiar la viabilidad de una empresa dedicada a la creación y distribución de bolsas plásticas biodegradables a base de almidón de maíz ubicada en la ciudad de Pereira, donde se plantean 4 objetivos específicos que ayudaran a obtener información necesaria para determinar si el proyecto cuenta con las condiciones adecuadas para generar utilidades en el transcurso de los primeros 5 años, se elaboró un análisis del mercado del sector para identificar las oportunidades y limitaciones del producto, además de esto se realizó un estudio técnico, administrativo y legal en los cuales se identificaron las necesidades para la puesta en marcha de la operación, finalizando con un estudio financiero el cual permitió identificar cada una de sus variables que al final dan a concluir que el proyecto en las condiciones planteadas es viable en la ciudad de Pereira. \ Abstract: The present work was carried out with the purpose of studying the feasibility of a company dedicated to the creation and distribution of biodegradable plastic bags.
