Este trabajo se centra en comprender la construcción de los sentidos subjetivos que tienen de su imagen corporal un grupo de mujeres en edades entre 15 y 17 años diagnosticadas con trastorno de conducta alimentaria en la ciudad de Pereira en el año 2017. Se utilizó como método la investigación acción participativa y la entrevista semiestructurada como técnica de recolección de datos. Donde se obtuvieron como resultados mediante la compresión de los discursos de cómo cada una de ellas ha construido el significado de imagen corporal propia a partir de sus experiencias de vida, las cuales han estado encaminadas a responder a las demandas de los demás, familiares y del contexto en general. \ Abstract: Eating disorders is one of the problems that has the greatest impact in society where its purpose is to respond to the demands made by the context, which demands a prototype of beauty that is generating increasingly impacting consequences in the population, being this a problem that must be disputed from all the spheres of the human being.
