La información es en la actualidad el activo fundamental de cualquier organización, por lo tanto se vuelve imprescindible encontrar mecanismos eficientes para administrarla y darla a conocer; el entorno académico no es la excepción, las universidades generan diariamente cientos de kilobytes de información que deben llegar oportunamente y de manera integra a los diferentes integrantes de sus comunidades.
