Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2019.El artículo tiene una relación directa, con el proyecto urbano y arquitectónico, que estoy desarrollando en la Maestría en Arquitectura y Urbanismo en la Universidad Católica de Pereira. Se trata de una propuesta de “Parque Público Paisajístico entre quebradas, San Mateo”, donde hoy se encuentra el Batallón San Mateo, que será trasladado al Municipio de la Virginia. Las 60 hectáreas que hoy ocupa las instalaciones del Batallón, se pretende que sea un gran parque para la ciudad de Pereira, entre otros equipamientos culturales, deportivos y de innovación. En primera instancia se definirá el concepto del Espacio Público, luego se especifica que es Espacio Público Efectivo, a continuación se registra algunas experiencias en Colombia, sobre cómo han reglamentan la ocupación del Espacio Público en Medellín y Pereira, la normativa del espacio público a través del tiempo en Colombia y por último las conclusiones. Abstract: Does the Public Space Effective, can generate income for its maintenance, being available for all? The article has a direct relationship with the urban and architectural project, which I am developing in the Master's Degree in Architecture and Urbanism at the Catholic University of Pereira. It is a proposal of "Landscape Public Park between gorges, San Mateo", where today is the San Mateo Battalion, which will be transferred to the Municipality of Virginia. The 60 hectares that today occupies the facilities of the Battalion, is intended to be a large park for the city of Pereira, among other cultural, sports and innovation facilities.
