Los resultados obtenidos muestran la presencia del techo de cristal y las causas externas del fenómeno, tal como, los estereotipos de género, cultura organizacional, redes informales y apadrinamiento en dicha institución militar. Lo que permite concluir, que el género femenino se enfrenta a mayores obstáculos extrínsecos para alcanzar cargos altos en la estructura jerárquica de la institución, asimismo, el estudio aportó a un tema que suele ser sensible y no ha sido tratado dentro de la organización. / Abstract : The objective of this study is to identify the external barriers of the glass ceiling in the Military Base Biter 6 of Piedras -Tolima-, in the year 2022, through a descriptive methodology with a transversal non-experimental design applied by means of a survey and a semi-structured interview, considering the theoretical contributions corresponding to Organizational Psychology. The results obtained show the presence of the glass ceiling and the external causes of the phenomenon, such as gender stereotypes, organizational culture, informal networks, and sponsorship in this military institution.
