Se presentarán los motivos por los cuales estos residuos son considerados contaminantes y cómo afectan no solo a los seres humanos, suelo, aire y agua, sino también a los mismos animales. Se evidenciará el caso específico del barrio Gamma, Pereira, donde la intolerancia llevó a realizar una amenaza de envenenamiento de diversas especies.This article aims to expose an environmental problem that is happening in many parts of the country and the world: pollution caused by animal feces. The reasons why these wastes are considered contaminants and how they affect not only humans, soil, air and water, but also the animals themselves will be presented.
