Se vive en la cultura del consumismo que es lo que ofrecen los medios de comunicación. Es más importante “tener” que “ser”. A esto se le suma la desintegración familiar que es generalizada. Lo importante para los adolescentes es disfrutar el presente: el sexo, la rumba, la droga. Poco les interesa el futuro, por eso carecen de un proyecto de vida. Por lo tanto, la institución educativa, que es donde pasan gran parte de su tiempo, debe responsabilizarse de su educación integral en la cual, además de adquirir conocimientos, logren un crecimiento en su ser. En consecuencia, la intención de esta investigación es identificar las necesidades y condiciones para la construcción del proyecto de vida integral de los estudiantes de la Institución Educativa San Joaquín. / Abstract: Today the young people feel uncertainty, non sense, no projection to the future. They live in a consuming culture that is offered by the mass media. “Having” is more important than “being”. In addition, there is no familiar integration. The most important thing for adolescents is enjoying the present: sex, dance and music, drugs. Future is not important for them, because of that, they do not have a life project. Therefore, the school, that is the place where they stay for a long time, must be responsible of their integral education in which, besides they get knowledge, they can get interior increasing.
