Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira Risaralda, 2020.Sobre la metodología de etnografía educativa se desarrolla una investigación cualitativa que busca establecer cómo pueden afectarse las competencias ciudadanas de ocho estudiantes de grado octavo con el trabajo a partir de una guía de aprendizaje bajo el modelo postprimaria rural para la enseñanza de las matemáticas construida desde la realidad misma de los estudiantes y que tiene como eje las competencias ciudadanas en un estudio de caso mediante un proceso que denominamos sentimatematizar; haciendo un análisis de las competencias ciudadanas antes y después del trabajo se pudo establecer que empleando el lenguaje algebraico se puede obtener información útil para el análisis de una situación problemica que ayuda a formular soluciones y afecta de manera positiva las competencias ciudadanas. / Abstract: The Colombian context presents challenges for the citizen, especially at school, where it is required to achieve specific competencies, in order to favor the training process of students, both personally and in education. To achieve this end, a relationship must be established between each of the subjects to be taken and the recognition of the dimensions of being in order to interpret situations objectively and positively affect the lives of each of the learners, strengthening citizen competencies. This research had a qualitative approach, with an educational ethnography design, which sought to understand the influence of mathematization on the citizenship competencies of eight eighth grade students from the Marco Fidel Suarez rural campus of the San Clemente Educational Institution, Guática Risaralda.
