El equipamiento colectivo responde al estudio social y territorial identificando al centro cultural como equipamiento complementario tanto para la escuela Manuelita Sáenz y la caseta comunal con un programa de actividades como: artes plásticas, dibujo y pintura, baile y música. por medio del concepto de apropiación he integración a través del patio, nodo el cual ordena los espacios convirtiéndose este como punto de transición generando una comunicación lineal entre la escuela y el proyecto. Las características del lugar permiten proponer un proyecto sobre pilotes logrando potencializar las visuales hacia la cordillera occidental, los arboles existentes del lote se preservan para generar una transición desde lo público pero de igual forma aprovecharlos como termorreguladores de espacios, la materialidad de cerramientos madera, bahareque en cementado y esterilla responden a las condiciones climáticas para generar confort en sus espacios. Se utiliza la guadua como estructura por ser biodegradable y amigable con el medio ambiente. \ Abstract: The western cultural center of Virginia, understands the environmental, social and infrastructure conditions to give a logical response to the needs of the place, through the study of the field it is possible to show great appropriation by the community towards the field of Soccer as a space for integration and recreational activities for children, youth and adults.
