2022-06-012022-06-01http://hdl.handle.net/10785/10936El presente documento pretende presentar un panorama general de la Educación Superior en Colombia actualmente, intentando definir ciertas condiciones de cambio que se han venido dando en cuanto a este referente y considerar algunos de los retos y proyecciones que desde la realidad del autor deben afrontar las instituciones en la perspectiva que este proceso implica. El escrito debe entenderse sólo como una primera aproximación para comprender la realidad de la Educación Superior en el país y el papel que la Universidad juega en la transformación de las dinámicas de cambio que actualmente enfrenta el sistema educativo. Por tanto, este documento más que hacer un diagnóstico acerca de la situación de la Educación Superior en Colombia (donde se presentan referentes estadísticos y en general cuantitativos), lo que busca es mostrar, a través de una reflexión general, un panorama global acerca de la Educación Superior en el país y determinar la importancia que para las Universidades y el Estado tiene el reflexionar sobre aspectos como la internacionalización, la flexibilización, la investigación y la evaluación como los principales retos que deben enfrentar conjuntamente los actores comprometidos en el proceso.The present paper tries to present a general panorama of the higher education in Colombia nowadays, trying to define certain conditions of change that have been given for this referring and to consider some of the challenges and projections that from the reality of the author the institutions must confront , in the perspective that this process implies. This writing must be understood only as a first approach to comprehend the reality of the higher education in the country and the role the university plays in the transformation of the dynamics of change that the educational system faces at the moment.
