Además de explicar los otros diversos problemas que rodean a esta industria, puesto que muchas personas no saben que es la segunda agroindustria más importante del país seguida del café pero que aún sigue el poco reconocimiento por esta ardua labor y por el producto tan nutritivo y beneficio que es para toda la población como lo es la panela totalmente elaborada al natural y por estándares de calidad propios de cada trapiche teniendo en cuenta que es un producto listo para el consumo.
