Se exponen algunas de las principales características del niño en etapa escolar, se visibiliza la importancia del juego en el desarrollo de las diferentes etapas y dimensiones del ser humano, se hace mención a diferentes teorías psicológicas sobre el juego, se destaca la importancia de la alianza terapéutica en los diferentes enfoques de la psicología y finalmente el rol que cumple el juego para el establecimiento de esta misma en psicoterapia infantil. Abstract: This article aims to present the theoretical review of the role played by the game in the psychological clinic as a tool to weave the therapeutic alliance with school-age children.
