2023-08-302023-08-30http://hdl.handle.net/10785/15529Este texto tiene como propósito identi fi car las concepciones de tres docentes de la Institución Educativa San Vicente Hogar, de los grados primero y segundo de básica primaria, sobre las posibilidades educativas de estudiantes con discapacidad cognitiva, teniendo en cuenta que en sus aulas de clase, tienen matriculadas algunas niñas con estas condiciones. Para ello, haciendo uso de una metodología hermenéutica, se realiza una descripción de sus concepciones y la manera como estas se relacionan con sus prácticas. Se logró develar que las concepciones de los maestros se constituyen en un aspecto fundamental para re fl exionar las transformaciones necesarias y posibles en las prácticas, las culturas y las políticas, para que la inclusión en el contexto educativo sea una realidad.This paper is the result of the analysis of various interviews and observations with three teachers from the Institución Educativa San Vicente Hogar from fi rst and second grades. We focused on the teachers’ believes about educational possibilities of girls with cognitive dissabilities, considering that in their classroom there are already girls who show signs of such dissabilities. It was through that approach, and the use of hermeneutic translations, that we came up with a description of its conception and the way these are related to their practices. These are evident in the teachers’ daily duties and in the way the teachers relate to the girls with cognitive dissabilities.
