Entre alguna de las modalidades de turismo que existen, se resalta el Turismo de Naturaleza, en donde uno de los departamentos de Colombia con grandes ventajas y atributos en este tipo de turismo es Risaralda, destacándose como una región de oportunidad de inversión, debido a todas sus características específicas como lo es su geografía, su paisaje, su gente, sus especies de aves y sus parques naturales, entre otros. En el departamento, esta modalidad de turismos se refleja por medio de las entidades prestadoras de servicios turísticos, específicamente las clasificadas por la CARDER en el Sistema Departamental de Áreas Protegidas de Risaralda (SIDAP) teniendo en cuenta que se identifican ciertas falencias y dificultades, que impiden que el sector sea explotado adecuadamente lo cual se hace necesario brindar condiciones para que dichas áreas lo puedan implementar y así poder atraer mayor Inversión Extranjera Directa. /Abstract. Tourism worldwide is considered a strategic sector that contributes to the development and social - economic competitiveness of the countries. Among the tourism modalities that exist, Nature Tourism stands out, where one of the departments of Colombia with great advantages and attributes in this type of tourism is Risaralda, standing out as a region with a great opportunity of investment due to all its specific characteristics such as its geography, its landscape, its people, its bird species and its natural parks, among others.
