This way it advances in the construction of knowledge about the youth, about the juvenile, about the juvenile cultures in general (for Colombia and the “Eje Cafetero“) and the particular electronic culture, from the perspective of a creative youth, with the aesthetics as the axis of their subjectivity.El artículo pretende mostrar al lector las condiciones internacionales y nacionales de emergencia de la cultura electrónica, para lo cual se rastrean teorías más generales acerca de lo que significa la categoría “culturas juveniles” y desde allí interpretar el modo en que el fenómeno se presenta en nuestro contexto regional, a través de los testimonios de jóvenes inmersos en la escena.
