Características Comportamentales de un Niño con Diagnóstico TDAH en el ámbito escolar.

Abstract

El presente estudio de caso se ejecutó con el objetivo de describir el comportamiento de un paciente de 6 años de edad, escolarizado en segundo grado, tratado en el Centro de Atención Psicológica (CAPSI) de la Universidad Católica de Pereira, puesto que se trabaja con el consultante en un contexto de prácticas de posgrado. El usuario llega a consulta diagnosticado con TDAH con predominio hiperactivo e impulsivo. Esta investigación se realizó mediante metodología con enfoque cualitativo descriptivo desde un estudio de caso; con el abordaje cognitivo conductual. En cuanto a la obtención y análisis de la información, se hizo uso de estrategias de recolección de datos como lo son la historia clínica, entrevista, observación y registro; finalmente obteniendo como resultado el desconocimiento del diagnóstico por parte de los padres del paciente que llevaba consigo una crianza demandante y el no ajuste curricular por parte de la institución educativa. Abstract: The present case study was carried out with the objective of describing the behavior of a 6-year-old patient, enrolled in second grade, treated at the Psychological Care Center (CAPSI) of the Catholic University of Pereira, since he works with the consultant in a postgraduate internship context. The user comes to the consultation diagnosed with ADHD with a predominance of hyperactivity and impulsiveness. This research was carried out using a methodology with a qualitative descriptive approach from a case study; with the cognitive behavioral approach. Regarding the obtaining and analysis of the information, data collection strategies were used such as clinical history, interview, observation and registration; finally resulting in the lack of knowledge of the diagnosis on the part of the patient's parents who had a demanding upbringing and the lack of curricular adjustment on the part of the educational institution.
