Resumen
Hogares Claret Foundation is a social re-education institution which works for restoration of rights impeded to adolescents who are in vulnerability conditions, as working for restoration of general citizenship rights by means of therapeutic work with law offender adolescents. This population, discriminated against and stigmatized in different ways, has gone through difficult circumstances related to their familiar life, social interaction, economic condition, physical and psychological development, and educational training. These difficulties have contributed significantly to most of these adolescents also has fallen into drug use and abuse, which constitutes one of the most severe problems because of why they are affected. Among the vulnerability the Foundation adolescents have lived in, therapeutic work from psychology, more specifically from the individual clinical intervention and group work focuses, has generated positive changes in their thinking and behaviors, as in their time management. One of the fundamental features that support these achievements is the recognition they manage to do about the law fault committed, and the desire to correct it, while continuing being part of society in a more upright and ethical way. Thus, Hogares Claret adolescents have found in the institution an important fulcrum on which to deposit expectations and efforts, so that they manage to recognize themselves as people with rights and duties, and as valuable and worthy of respects human beings who are part of society.
