dc.descriptionSanofi Aventis S.A. es una compañía farmacéutica con más de 30 años de trayectoria alrededor del mundo. Parte de la estrategia global de crecimiento de la compañía es la de adquirir nuevas marcas que le permitan tener acceso a un mayor numero de pacientes, combatiendo las enfermedades que aquejan a la sociedad actual. Siendo consecuente con lo anterior, se lanza en Guatemala la nueva línea de medicamentos genéricos, Medley, con el fin de satisfacer las necesidades médicas de la población perteneciente a estrato medio (Next Billion Consumer). Esta nueva unidad de negocio requiere de monitoreo constante evaluando el comportamiento del mercado tanto de genéricos puros como genéricos de marca y productos de investigación.es_ES
dc.description.abstractSanofi Aventis S.A. is a pharmaceutical company with over 30 years of experience around the world. Part it’s global growth strategy is to acquire new brands allowing the company to expand to a larger number of patients, fighting diseases that affect the society. Being consistent with that and in order to meet the medical needs of the population belonging to middle stratum (Next Billion Consumer) the company launched in Guatemala the new line of generic drugs, Medley. This new business unit requires constant monitoring to assess the behavior of pure generics, branded generics and research market.es_ES
