dc.description.abstract	Resumen. La arquitectura bioclimática es una disciplina que en la modernidad busca mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas, suministrando edificaciones con un alto grado de confort, considerando las necesidades de las personas que las habitan y las características del entorno natural y social en el que se construyen. Aquí se presenta una propuesta de vivienda para una finca situada en la zona ganadera del municipio de Valencia, Córdoba. Una región donde hay fuerte radiación directa que incide en las viviendas; los vientos provienen del oeste y del norte; y hay presencia de insectos y serpientes dañinas y peligrosas. Con esta información se definieron las estrategias bioclimáticas que serían usadas en el diseño: ventilar permanentemente la vivienda; proteger las fachadas con aleros anchos; desarrollar vivienda abierta al paisaje; y proteger la vivienda de insectos y animales. Finalmente, el comportamiento bioclimático del diseño propuesto fue evaluado por medio de simulaciones. Abstract. Bioclimatic architecture is a discipline that aims to improve the quality of life of the people, providing them with buildings with a high degree of comfort. It takes into account the local environmental and social conditions. Here I present a proposal for a house on a cattle farm in the municipality of Valencia, Córdoba, a region where there are high ambient temperatures, strong direct solar radiation, and the prevailing winds blow from the west and the north. It is algo a region where there is an abundance of disease transmitting insects and poisonous snakes that need to be kept away from buildings. With this information, several bioclimatic strategies were defined to be used in the building design: to permanently ventilate the house making the most of the prevailing winds; to protect all exterior walls from direct sunlight with wide roof eaves; to maintain visual access of the surroundings; and to protect the inside of the building against mosquitos and poisonous snakes. Finally, the bioclimatic behaviour of the proposed building designed was evaluated using specialized software.	es_MX
