Abstract : The present study was conducted with undergraduate university students from the city of Pereira, the objectives were: (a) to compare the EAG and IPAQ scores according to sociodemographic variables; (b) to identify the EAG scores in university students who perform PA. We worked with a sample of 86 male and female participants, ranging from 17 to 31 years of age. Two instruments, IPAQ and EAG, were applied in order to compare the PA levels in the students' PA, and these data were compared with the sociodemographic variables. In the results of the analysis according to sex, no significant differences were found between men and women in the variables of EAG and PA. On the other hand, the onefactor Anova evidences that students who scored higher in the Vigorous PA level have higher AE with a p-value < .005. However, this study confirms the null hypothesis, since no significant differences were found between PA levels and AE scores.
