Abstract: Supported by the approach to the work of Enrique Dussel and his philosophy of liberation, where he has framed and worked one thought from the other, and the emancipation of the peripheries, in the philosophical, pedagogical, political and now aesthetic field; especially emancipation understood in the interpretation of alterity (being-other), within a recognition of the Latin American subject, seeking to break the Eurocentric discourse for the distinction of the cultures and thoughts that oppressed in that colonization of the peripheries. From there an approach to the thoughts of the south, and the emergence of collectives, and critical pedagogies that rethinks and exposes the work in education, in the social and cultural, to sustain the importance of the voices of others within their own cultures, and thoughts found in that other, the oppressed, the poor, the indigenous, the other; since the individual needs the other, to emerge in social discourses, and become part of history. Since that other (face of the other, or being-other) must be fully interpreted and understood to finally understand ourselves as an equal (alterity), articulating the discourse of the center and the peripheries. Like happens with many daily phenomenons, the solitude (the experience of solitude) has been unseen by the academy and, in general, for those who study the human. With the exception of some isolated analysis, there are not, from the formals and institutionals ambits, reflections that approach the solitude phenomenon with enough acuteness. In this context emerges the investigation The solitude in the woman teacher: Reflections of an autobiographical story. This article intends to expose the motivations, the method and the general conclusions that have been extracted from such investigation, approaching only the general aspects that operate like an invitation to the whole investigation. Here are established the general characteristics of the solitude experienced by the woman teacher in the ambit of her pedagogical practice and her personal life, knowing that it's impossible to separate one sphere from the other, with the consequences that are implied. The analysis, for this investigation, is the result of two particular processes: A creative process that involved the writing of an autobiographical story; and, an analitic that, from the hermeneutic, implied the interpretation of the story in the frame of some stablished categories.
