La conducta de afrontamiento centraliza el autocontrol en cuanto disminuye la probabilidad de ocurrencia a la etapa denominada recaída.\ Abstract: Exploratory research work with three adults who presented alcohol dependence with the aim of identifying behaviors and coping styles with average consumption times of 28 years each. After multiple attempts to overcome the problematic relationship with alcohol abuse, they voluntarily decide to initiate proceedings with the 24-hour plan "Just for Today", achieving abstinence results in times of 7, 14 and 21 years through the Alcoholics program Anonymous (AA) of the "Reencuentro" group of the municipality of Calarcá-Quindío (Colombia), identifying in the process coping behaviors that decrease the probability of occurrence in a relapse in subjects located according to Prochaska and Diclemente (1984) Called Maintenance. The investigative process was carried out with the application of techniques such as the semi-structured interview, self-registration tasks, internal, external and anxiety triggers, in which the relation of the subjects in the substitution of addictive behaviors is evidenced (Substance use) to coping behaviors (group or interpersonal activities, use of services and objects, including television, affective attachments, work, avoidance and focus on the problem). It can be deduced that subjects, when they somehow avoid these behaviors or behaviors for short periods, present emotional states related to irritability, anxiety, frustration, sadness and hopelessness. Coping behavior centralizes self-control as it decreases the probability of occurrence at the stage called relapse.Publicación Acceso abierto Informe final de Práctica profesional: comunidad terapéutica Hogar Los Muchachos Centro De Atención Altagracia(Universidad Católica de Pereira, 2016-10-03) Álvarez Velásquez, Juan GuillermoWithin the current perspective of cognitive behavioral psychology, it is understood that individuals have different learning in our lives, and these lessons that mobilize our actions, based on this assumption, it is understood that in cognitive behavioral psychology no diseases but behaviors are addressed maladaptive, which are due to dysfunctional learning, however, to the extent that they are learning, they can be variables, modified by new learning much more beneficial for subjects, reason that has led to cognitive behavioral psychology, the establishment of the generalization of new learning on the actions taken by the subjects, as well as a position as one of the best intervention strategies regarding the management of psychological problems. Also, this approach to psychology, also enables intimate relations with the intervention model employed by TCs establishing primacy over the product of the relationship learning in a social group, hence this work articulates the different functions performed in the institution, such as the accompaniment to school family support meetings STAFF group, organization of group workshops, followed patients from psychological sessions, the above protected under a theoretical model, which, however, keeps a close relationship, which will become apparent in the course of subsequent pages.
